What Catfish Or Group Is Best For Me?

going by the stocking in my signature minus the forktail rainbows as they are goign into another tank, what would be the best type of carfish for me? i was thinking 2 or 3 pictus.

i dont like corys and want soemthing that will grow to around 12cm max

would i have room and would they be ok in my tank? or does anyone reccomend better?

Given you have two types of lower tank cichlids and some predatory catfish at the lower plus mid level, not sure you have many options. Any chance of sourcing four or more Blue Sheatfish (have these been possitively IDed as not being K. minor or K. bicirrhis?) ? If not, perhaps some midwater P.buffei?

Given the stocking in your signature, presumeably you have the tank temp around 25C? If so, those P. denisonii are not likely to well long term, tropical temps are fine for a "summer season" but all year round this will drastically shorten their lifespan.

Hoplos are nice.
And are fairly active. Unlike a lot of the other Cats which only come out at night.
