I have 1 Kribensis, 3 Orange Hi fin Lyretail Swordtails, 1 Sterbai Cory, 1 Black Sail Cory, 1 Peppered Cory, 1 Clown Pleco and 2 African Dwarf Frogs. PS I do not use the 1 inch per gallon rule ( can you put a 10 inch fish in a 10 gallon tank? NO!) I also don't count algae eaters, frogs, snails or small plecos in any rule. I do use the one inch rule as a GUIDLINE. I took out a moonlight gourami that has irritated red gills with one hole in the gill. What can I put in? Can I put in a BLue Acara OR a Keyhole Cichlid OR somthing else (guide me). I have a well fake planted 30 gallon tank with a bogwood arch and a fake log cave (defended by the krib). My kribensis is female, should I get a male?

What can I put in? Another krib?

Yes, you can put a male krib in there. Is the tank cycled? I would definatley get rid of the Cory's, as they do not mix well with Kribs AT ALL. Esepcially when they breed. Just because a fish is sick, doesnt mean you get rid of it. Whatever it had is probably in your tank at the moment, and possibly already affecting your other fish. It was probably Gill Flukes. Blue Acara's get to big for your tank. Keyholes are not a good tank mate for your stocking. If you are going ot put in another kribs, you need a few caves.
