What Can I Have In My Tank Nex/?

i have a 127 litre 27.5 galon tank!! just gone thru the cycle i dont plan on getting any for at least a 3 weeks but im just wondering what to go for next!
so far i have 5 rummy nose tetras,5 neon tetras, 4 corrys,2 plecs and a clown loach thats just visiting!!
i like the small fish like tetras that are bright and colourfull

What about making the groups a bit bigger (8 - 10 or more), and then add others. Glowlights are very nice!

You could...;

Add a pair of rams.

up the corys to 6

and maybe add 5 glowlights.


Things that need changing...;

Clow loach gets 12" n needs to be returned to the lfs unless u have a 120g for him as they need to be in groups of 6

Plecs? what plecs you may have bought commons if you did... then they get as big as 18" once again return them.

hi guys thanx for the response! the plecs are common plecs i think! they are dark in apearance like a browny colour!
i went to my local fish store and asked them about the plecs and loach and they said they will only grow to the size of my tank!!
i am getting a bonus from work in 6 months time so will be able to get me a bigger tank would they last till then?

if by last you mean live, probably, but it's going to be very stressful for them. They won't grow their full size because they hav been stunted so in a tank that small, they prbably won't get HUGE but it also shortens their lifespan. I'd suggest rehoming them sooner. Ask the lfs if they will take them back. Or post in the buy,sell, and swap section of the forum. Good luck!

I've had my tiger barbs, 4 of them, and one Green and one Black Ruby for about a month now. They're adorable and i absolutely love them all. I only have a ten gallon tank, and now i realize what a sin this is .. so i'm working on setting up a 55 gallon tank to house my babies, and i'm just wondering if there was anything else that would go with them? i really like the flashy ones

Comminswill reach around the 18" mark. unless your getting something huge like 7x3x3 then return them. commons shouldnt be sold in my opinion. at the same time please return the clown loach he gets to 12" and needs amin of 6x2x2 tank and needs to bein groups.

if you rehome these you could get a Bristlenose for the algae (a small plec) gets 6"

and a pair of rams?
