What Can I Have In A Brackish Tank

Just a question as i have seen no mention of it so far, but what SG are you keeping the tank at?

you could have this:


Figure eight puffer, Tetradon biocellattus


your tank is low salinity, right? it should be anyway I think that low is less than 1.005 sg and the puffer should do fine

from how ur tank sounds id highly recommend red clawed crabs!! they usually arent best wit small fish but seem fine with bumblebee gobies!!

look great with sand!

full of character!

full of colour!

and dont get any bigger than 2.5 inches!!

i had kept 4 bbgs with my 2 figure 8s in a brack tank and they did fine.they would sometimes steal the bloodworms form the puffers' mouths.you could also put in a "freshwater" flounder which are brackish,fig 8s, and chromids which are supposed to be pretty peaceful.thats why im gunna get some when i upgrade my brack community.it is also said that dragon fish(dragon eel/violet goby) will get along fine with bbgs but im not 100% sure id trust one not to eat a goby with a mouth 2 times the size of them filled with big teeth.
