What Can I Grow With...

Hello, what can I grow with an tank of old aquarium water and some normal around the house stuff (or very easy stuff to get (no online orders). I want to grow some live food for my fish (big enough so that my current fish (look in signature) could eat the food)?

Actually I kind of found the answer to my question with this website:

I think i'll grow myself some Grindal worms soon. Will my fish (look in my signature) be able to eat them easily?

This is quite off topic...don't know anything about growin the food but I just gotta say beautiful kitty cat! Looks alot like my manx (although he has no tail of course) Just had to comment on it...what does your cat think of the fish? My sisters cat ignores everything but her (accidentally) purchased chinese algae eaters in her ancient 10 gallon - she sits in wait and if she sees them she tries so hard to get at them through the glass - very hilarious to see! She can be across the room but if she sees one of the suckers come out from their hiding spot she is there in a flash hugging the tank! Heehee

My cat has seen the fish, he just dosen't like watching them alot, actually one time I picked him up though to give him a better view of the fish and he was in a trance watching my gourami's slow movements about the tank for about 45 sec, then he quickly wanted to get out, and he gave me a bad scratch! You should see his face when he want to go out though, I can't refuse that face (It's like one of those pleading cute faces)

Also another off-topic question to you: I have been trying to find out what type of cat he is (for some reason I don't know) and it seems he is a Norwegian Forest Cat, what do you think?
