What Can I Feed My Dwarf Gourami?

My dwarf gourami won't eat peas for some reason ive tried on several occassions, he has a little nibble then just leaves them and does not touch them again. So what else could I feed him other than peas?

My Dwarf Gourami loves peas. I use frozen peas that I microwave till soft, then I break the skin and sqiush it out or chop it into very tiny pieces. He also loves zucchini. I use fresh that I slice thinly and microwave it to soften. Make sure it sinks as they prefure to eat off the bottom. Let me know how it goes for u O.K.?

ok thanks i might try and microwave the peas like you said you do. Do you put them in water or anything when microwaving them?

I'll go get some zucchini later today and try that as well.

Just to clarify - they can eat flake, pellets and live/frozen foods as well.

yes put some water in the bowl or they will just dry out, same with the zucchini. By the way use either fresh peas or frozen, canned ones may have added salt and presertatives. Oh yes he also loves frozen bloodworms.

ok thanks i'll pick up some bloodworms and maybe some pellets and try feeding him some peas and zucchini done in the microwave.
