I have 2 M. Johanni, and three un identifies. right now Im woried about my johannii hurting them, but I think my smaller fish will be the one's to worry about, my johannii wont bother him, and thats saying something, as he is really agressive, and the little one is half his size.... I would prefer corydoras, will they work?

firstly let us know what size tank you have, can you post pics of the unidentified ones, and then we can help more. but corydoras i can definitely rule out, they prefer soft acidic water and mbuna would harrass them to the point of killing them.

ok, i'll worl on getting some pics, I'VE never posted any of my own, just other peoples who i needed for reference. Dont kill me over this, if they get big enough, i'll put them in a bigger tank, but right now they all live in a 25 gal. It seems enough, the only time they scrap is when one tries to get under the logs, my johanniis love 'em. One of my fish kind of reminds me of a shelly. she is about an inch long, and has verticle stripes, and the pointed head she is also grey. its not really pointy but more than any of my other fish. Im not sure, but I have a feeling its a female something. I can just tell by the motion, and attitde.and usually the females are they less-colorful, and striped

ummm.. any more? can I have shrimp? or pleco?or what?

All depends on the tank size. Most Synodontis catfish work well with aggressive Malawi's and Bristlenose Plecs are another option.

Synodontis Eupterus are nice fish but you will need at least a 40 gal to keep a couple of these. BN Plecs only get to about 5" and are more suited to smaller tanks.

Where would you suggest getting a bristnose? I've never seen them in the LFS overe here. only the normal brown ones. I have a 20-25 gallon tanks. And two 10 gallons if I need them

Where's "over here"?

Can't help you there then but BN Plecs are normally very common in the hobby.

i bought thi cool looking plec, and he loves all my lego building (Its Lego Themed) He loves this cave thingy

Sound good, what species? Do you have a pic yet?
