They look like johanni to me, but very poor looking specimens.

i agree with brewyn, and the chances of them being female is virtually nil as the female johanni is yellow, and also i have to add they are in the totally wrong tank with gouramis etc, the johanni can be a very nasty fish and will make mincemeat of your other fish and the ph required for them is totally different than those for standard tropicals, and if you where to et females they probably wouldnt breed as the conditions are totally wrong for malawi cichlids.

cheers stewy

Yep, almost certainly Johanni which are not community fish and you are likely to have major aggression problems with your current setup i'm afraid. :/

I agree with the above , but i noticed in your sig you have 2 pacu in a 29 gallon tank. Do you know how big and destructive they get?

the pacu have found a new home its just the fact of getting them there. i know the johanni are in the wrong tank im seting up a new one for them. :X

my friend is going to give me a 55 gallon long! so now i need help breeding them.

Sorry just going to point out whats wrong there, swordtails ok, angels need a 29g tall minimum, black skirt tetra need shoals so 5+, rainbow sharks don't get on with each other and need a 40g or 55g (can't remember which) minimum, silver dollars need shoals and bigger tanks, common plecs get huge so need huge tanks, clown loaches need shoals but will get big eventually and you've already sorted the pacu.

As for the breeding, clone one of your current tanks, then setup the tank with lot's of rocks etc. and male and female fish, feed well, keep the water clean etc. and they should breed.
