What Are These Things In My Tank?

Hello all,

Case number1...this was spotted some months back on the breeder net. What is it?
(haven't seen it since)

Case number 2:
Spotted a shiny green thing about 3mm tall, spiralling round n round in the tank last night. It sorta looked alive, but i ruled it out as a bit of plant debris.
Saw it again tonight, so i fished it out...and it looks like a little bug thats happy submerged or out of water.
What is it ?

first one is a leach... KILL IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

second is an insect, put it outside where it belongs.

thanks for the quick replies...wish i knew what happened to the leach..havent seen it in past few months.
