hey guys.
i've noticed that my larger wild-caught salvini has two spots on his dorsal fin...and i'm thinking they should not be there.
i know it's hard to distinguish in the picture, but those two spots are not in the fin, but are rather three-dimensional lumps ON the fin, visible from this side only (i.e. they dont go through the fin).
with my ignorance of diseases i would say it looks like something laid eggs on its fin and the eggs stayed attached to it...but not fish eggs! are those insect larvae/eggs? parasites?
this is a wild fish caught about 3 weeks ago. it's been eating deworming and antibiotic flakes along with blackworms, bloodworms and micro pellets.
what am i seeing here? is it something to worry about?
