What are the hardiest livebearers?

What are the hardiest livebearers? I need to know cause I have to get my first fish soon and I wanna be sure the tank is ready.

I agree with this. And, you can find them in all sorts of colors. Except for the population explosion that would occur, I'd love to have tank of all the different colored platies I coud find.

Cool I was after platys anyways, because im gonna get a betta in there.

I would have said swordtails were hardier than platies but it depends what size tank you have...if its a big tank then swords but a small tank platies.
