What Are Suitable Cichlid Mates For Bolivian And Blue Rams

i just got my first cichlids today...a bolivian and a blue ram. ive been thinking for a while about what i want to stock in my 3ft when i upgrade to a 4ft community. im thinking cichlids now. will peacocks be ok with the rams? there is a beautiful tangerine at work that i would like. if not what other cichlids would be good for a 3ft with the above mentioned cichlids i have so far that may also get along with tetras. i would like to keep some schools of tetras even with the cichlids if possible

If you want just cichlids then stick with dwarf species if you already have the rams. The other species that grow larger are much more aggressive and as I said, grow bigger so will see the rams as a snack one day. Usually you want to keep dwarfs either with other dwarfs or in a community of other peaceful community fish.
