i was thinking of lowering the water level in my current tank 4ft 55gal, and somehow making an above water level (perhaps by siliconing more glass or creating a platform of wood, i would probably use the same white sand in the top layer for cleaning issues if appropriate)
i have heard that the hieght of the water is of less concern to cichlids, i also have two plecs, i have never seen or heard my cichlids trying to jump out of the water.
anyways, what are your suggestions toward this?
p.s i am worried about how much weight can be put on the glass which is about 5mm thick
