ok i got this fish and im not sure what it is.
it has about four black dots al0ng it body and the dots are surrounded with about a millimeter of metallic blue then another dot a bit above and a bit behind its eyes
it has stripes simaler to a convict but faded so its like a background on the fish and a metallic blue sheen on its body when it moves in the light
any suggestions would be appreciated.
p.s its very aggressive

yes thats it but its only about four inches and doesn't have that amount of coaler. how big do these get? can i have some advice on there care?

You should ask about hybrid fish here: http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showforum=47

A word of warning: a Flowerhorn is extremely aggressive. They'll kill anything, even each other. They are pitbulls having a very bad hair day. You're asking for serious disaster if you try to co-locate that thing with other fish that don't share the same behavioral trait. Think Jack Dempseys, Green Terrors or Texas cichlids. You're going to need a big, BIG tank in a short amount of time.
