Hey...

I asked in the coldwater section and no luck so far Original Thread...So maybe the exposeur in this section will solve the mystery. We have since released him after a nice long acclimation...He seemed to dart right off and hopefully will have no problems. I've since learned that he was kept in that dirty little 10gal with no filtration and sometimes a fill up with tap water for almost 4months now....So he deserves a chance for being such a fighter.

I think its some kind of trout...but i havent been able to find a pic/site that will make a definate I.D.

The first person to I.D this fish wins a prize.....

(fineprint-rules-regulations.Winners must live in Greater Toronto area to accept prize and must be legal drinking age.Prize includes drinking until you drop and trying to get a toronto cab that wont rob you blind)

After looking at the top pic, the jaw of the fish resembles that of a Muskie or a Northern Pike.

lol, so does that mean you think it may be that or that you see differences? the coloration def. looks off and the head/jaw looks slightly more distinct in your specimen, but i think it may be one of those with ill effects from living in a home aquarium

I was tryin to say that i think they look alike...It's not the best picture because you can't really see the front of its face...They have the same line going down the side...so the color could be the poor conditions like you said.
