What Age?

Hi, what age would my betta be when i got him? He was about an inch long (just the body) when i got him, which was a couple of months ago.

Inch long body, maybe around 7/8 months?

it depends, i had 1 inch betta at about 4 months

did you get it from a fish shop? if yes, then there are big chances to have lower age...

it also depends on the variety of the betta, from my experience i've seen that long finned ones tend to grow slowlyer

There are differences but generally mine achieve a body length of an inch at around 3-4 months but you do still get the "little" and "large" ones in every spawn . Depends on where you get them though as SarahFish says.

and also don't forget about giant bettas which grow much faster
