What's your verdict on this fish pair

Sorry about the picture quality, the little tikes won't sit still. I bought them as a pair, the top one is the male, much smaller than the female, and has a black under carriage. I forgot what they were called and the FS was a long way away. I've had them for about three months and still i don't know what they are, would be nice to know.

Bad pic but I'd hazzard a guess its the livebearing mosquito fish (Gambusia affinis)
A clearer pic would be to your advantage.

the bottom fish looks like (Gambusia affinis) western mosquito fish

would say the top one is the same.

They are deffinately a kind of livebearer. The Western Mosquito Fish (gambusia affinis) mentioned above is a possibility. Look up some pics on google to see if it looks anything like yours. If not, a clearer pic is going to be useful, if not necessary, as there are way too many livebearers those pics could represent.

Mosquito Fish looks good thanks guys! Although when googled they look slightly different. Ill get sone clearer pictures just to be sure....

Ok, here's some better pictures. Didn't really realise how difficult a few pictures could be. I think i got myself another hobby .... photographing fish, more research needed first tho....
