Wet/dry Filter

I've decided to get a wet/dry filter that will be housed underneath my tank. It will house my protein skimmer and heater. So my question to you all is could I make this a refugium too? Also, what size return pump will I need to have with it being 4.5ft from the tank with 3/4in. PVC piping and an overflow box that is rated at 600 gph? The rest of the tank info is in my signature.

refugium - yes but it won't be easy or very large. My suggestion is to add a seperate refugium or skip it for now.

return pump - a mag7 will work perfectly. It will have enough flow to keep bubbles moving and not too much that the tank will overflow.
