Were Do You Get Yours From

Hi if you live in the uk 1 was just wondering were do you get your bettas from but not from the internet.I live in the midlands and have rang up so many places but only stock the normal vt's

im down south n my local sumtimes has some rarer ones in, but thats about it
i think the UK is pretty poor compared to the US

i got my plackats from pets at home, recently they have been getting alot of pk females in, but my male was in with the females, which makes me wonder if they are asuming its female coz its got short fins and puting it in with the females, i mean what if they got a few pk males in at once

i got some combe tail females from rintouls pets store in bathgate, its a family run business, but i dont know where their supplier is, ive also seen spade tail and delta males there.

i got my double tail female from the aquatic rooms in edinburgh, they often have crowntails in aswell, but ive so far managed to resist

oh definatly.I hate living in the uk when it comes to bettas.I can get nice coloured females like peaches and stuff but thats about it.

If you get talking to the chaps in the aquatic centres they can stipulate what colours and tails when they order.....ours can anyway. Try chatting the staff up...flattery etc...even if you dont mean it.

We can only get VTs at the lfs's near me, I get my others online and through people I know from forums

most ones i like are in US and no 1 has the licence to ship abroad

Try Blooms in Kenilworth on the A452 - ive been there a few times and they get really nice fighters in different tail types as some of the staff keep fisghters. so they get nice ones in.

Peter Barratts get combtails in but they are only in the North East
