He's a lovely colour :) Their tanks should be OK next to each other-give them something to watch :good: You can always stick a sheet of card or something in between if they look too stressed.

u love the spots on the top fin like the wild betta have

ye i was thinking about bin liner on the bigger tank but so far everythings fine
the new one seems a bit skittish atm flinch's and darts away every time u get too close were as the other wont even move if you touch him but im sure this will change i time

Quite a lot of bettas have those leopardy spots on the top fin-I had a blue betta with them once. They stand out very well on yours though. Have you got a name yet? Do the pics show his colours right?

no i dont name them tbh
ever seen spots on them before only noticed when i got him home tbh the tanks were darker in the shop

the first pics shows them best but he is darker than that the flash made him brighten up
his body looks more black and his end of the fins look a dark blue :good:

His color will probably improve with the good treatment you give him. :) Looks like orange and green, love the combo!

end of the fins are more blue in life, but green where the spots are as shown in pics

got him to flare today i but my other betta in a breeding trap in with him at first he didnt pay any attention when the other war flaring at him, but after a few laps he went straight to it both flared up and went side by side and both looked realy good :good:
