Wels bloody catfish

sorry to bother everyone again guess what i got given last night

a suposed knife fish which i was not sure about @ all i thought it was a catfish of some sort only to get home and identify it as a Bloo*y wels catfish cant belive it the skanker and after ringing them up they still denied all knoledge cant belive some poeple

Well JE-Bass thats nasty those things are huge eating machines and it was sold to you as a tropical knife fish? whew nasty. Although the barbels and the horizontally compressed head should of been a give away but not all things are obvious when we see a fishy we like eh? I would take the thing back and demand a refund or the eqiuvalent credit, once thats done boycott the store or at least be wary of the purchasing oddballs from there.......... but i tell ya it will grow this big

Your in trouble, I have seen one of those things eat a Swan! No kidding, I also heard of one that managed to get in a Koi pond and eat about 20 30"+ fish. Big, mean and nasty.

Your in Sh**, those thing get bigger than some sharks. My uncle ttok his dog on his dongy fishing(a mature one) and it got almost eaten by one!!! Look at the size of this 1!

Many thanks to everyone for there replys its very good of you, still got the wel's but had camcorder out last night & the night before on night vision and it was cruisin nice round the tank have got a new fish at the weekend after my last one choked on a foxtail a new redtailed catfish how good and cool are these fish ready to grow big and get into my tropical pool he will love it many thanks for the replys again guys speak soon
