GATORBAIT didnt you read the title for this post lol, its made from slate. 
Looks very nice, good job mate, it would look good if you piled some smalle pieces of slate ontop of the structure, to give it some depth, just an option
are you going to stock it with cihlids of some sort?

Yes they are but its in 2 pieces so it can be removed.
Also there is a pipe running the length of the tank under the slate going to a powerhead so it brings any crap up an will be facing the external filter!

Sorry the slate caves are done but i have plants another pleco cave oh and water to go in

ok, the only problem I can forsee is when a fish dies inside the cave.
the way you are going, it is gonna be hard to get at it, if you notice it has dissapeared anyways.
I hope it never happens but I'm thinking of the possibility so you can plan for the worst.

that looks great!!! Where did you manage to get the big flat parts for the roof of the cave?? Have you thought about java moss for putting on the roof of it??
I hve a cichlid tank and have just random bits of slate piled up but might tried something like this!! you have inspired me into action!!

Wolf it all comes apart very easily so if i was to loose a fish it would be quite easy to get at
