uh well um i uh just bought a uh 20 gal. tank yesterday and uh well set it up: half inch gravel, a penguin mini 125 gal. filter, a high quality thermo, four small fake plants, and a ornamental skull i'd say 1/2 scale oh and a mini air pump a little whisper thing which powers a 8 inch bubble wand and of course i put some clor- out stuff in yesterday and so the day after today (i just cant spell tommorow) @$%#&*^! i will buy a black with orange oscar baby ((its and inch long so i think its a baby) especially because of the 5 inch oscars in a different tank)) so please answer me i really really want to know if im doing somthing wrong, and what do you feed a oscar, ive heard flakes at first but, my uncle had live fish for his oscar so what to do??? please respond to this confused noob

If I were you, I'd wait a week or so before adding fish. Other than that, sounds pretty good!

Are you getting a bigger tank for it later? I don't think an oscar can live in a 20 gallon.

Darwf_dude tryed that, it lasted a month and it died, i would get a 55g before anything dude.

Depends, there a hard cichlid to get tankmates for, they get beaten up and picked on alot, and also they tend to pick on other fish as well. What did you have in mind?

Might be an idea to cycle the tank in some way aswell
