I was wondering about why is it a rare occasion that I see my 3 upside-down catfish eating anything I put into the tank since they been hovering around one of the plants for way too long?! Are they even healthy? They do look healthy in my opinion, though! In addition, 3 of my long fin black skirt tetra are barely eating anymore since only one of them only ate a little bit and the other 2 didn't care about eating. Not to mention, they are swimming in one place at the top of the tank and near the water heater! Also, their rear fins and side fins had some white spots, but I don't know if they are ich! I don't know if they are dying of old age since I had them for about one year or so I believe! In addition, I believe that they all reach their maximum size, since they are way better than the ones at the pet store I go to! P.S. I'm out of my parent's home for most of the year since of college! Yes, my fish are at my parent's house and I'm 18 years old!

Oh, yeah I just check my black skirt and some of their rear fin look like if someone chew on it a little bit! Well, I don't have anything to check on the pH level! It is at least a 30 gallons tank and it has about 9 plants in it! Temp. right now is about 78 F! I have 3 japanese eating algae shrimps, 3 kuhli loaches, 3 bloodfin, 3 upside-down catfish, and 3 black skirts! It seem like the upside down catfish are enjoying being around the planet too much since they all gather at one of the plants near the edge of the tank! Also, all 3 black skirts that seem to be unhealthy are staying around the heater and appear not to be active as usually!
