Yes it is a sad day for me, I've moved my last set of fish (2 blue rams) into my 20 gallon tank, and this fills 'er up. No more fish will fit in my 20g, I'm kinda sad, half the fun in fish keeping to me is getting new fish, Luckily I now have an empty 10g (used for quarantine, but another 10g is coming that I'll use for that) so I've got another tank and I'm addicted and need more fish, only problem is it won't be until next year (Jan. 2005) until I can start it up, seeing as I'm at college and by the time I get the tank cycled it will be time to move back home for a month, and I only want to move one tank, not two, expecially don't want to move a newly cycled or uncycled tank, so now I just get to sit around and watch my beautiful fish swim around for a while.

20g tank:
5 gold barbs
3 Julii Cories
1 Harlequin Raspora
5 Espre Rasporas
1 Male blue ram
1 Female blue ram

Pictures will come as soon as I can get a hold of a digital camera (at the latest christmas b/c I know I'll be getting one for myself then) just felt like sharing.

yes, along with a 10g quarantine, and next semester a 10g brackish fig.8 puffer tank.

My 30 gal is in my room too...............I love falling asleep to the sound of running water

why not? I mean I couldn't imagine having a fish tank in some of the dorms (like the one party dorm that there's always a party) but I live in a suite style dorm, only me and my room mate are ever in my room, and I hate extremly dirtyness so I clean up atleast once a week, and it's so easy to watch after the tank when it's right there all the time (well when I'm in my room) like right now the 10g q/t tank is right next to me on my desk and my little ram is staring at me (she's so curious when something gets close to the tank that moves) and I can turn my head and see my 20g across the room. I like it.

WOW, I can't imagine bringing fish to college and it was only an hour away from home. Do you bring your fish home on breaks? My school always turned all the heat and power off during breaks.

I love falling asleep to the sound of running water

It would drivce me nuts at times, especialy when the water is low.

It's like TV, it makes me fall asleep but as soon as i do i want to shoot the television... :hyper:

Good Luck with your tanks ;)

I live an hour and 15 minutes from college, no I don't bring the fish home on short breaks (5 days or less) which is all we have except for christmas which is a month, and yes I will be taking my fish home for christmas break, 3 5 gallon buckets, and a lot of care and prayer. I think it'll be ok as I did bring most of my fish from my hometown to here, and they're doing great. So we'll see how it goes. But yeah it's only hmmm 4 moves a year (and it'll probably only be for this year as after this year I'll probably get an apartment here and start a co op job here so I won't be going home over summer or anything, I'll be here working so as long as I can make it through a few moves this year, if the move home over break is terribly drastic I might just have to leave the tank at home (as my 29g is there because my parents enjoy fish too, so they'd take good care of them if the move is no fun) I sure do love having my fish here though as I can just sit and watch them and zone and relax... Fish relax me so much...
