Bit of a story for you all
I was sitting drinking my cup of tea studying my fish tank yesterday when i saw a baby swim to the front of the tank! I immediatly jumped up caught it and put it in the breeding trap along with my very pregnant swordtail who was hiding behind the plants. Then I noticed my very pregnant molly had a sort of white tube as described in 5steadys post and the swordtail was looking at me like "why am i here?" so i released her and put the molly in. The molly didn't seem happy with this but i left her anyway lol then i noticed the swordtail had gone into the castle and my red tail shark was going hyper around her, so, scared she was giving birth i put the divider in the breeding trap and put her back in. Skip forward about half hour and me and my husband are studying the tank when all of a sudden another baby swam to the front
Then I noticed that the female green sailfinned molly we had brought the day before had a baby hanging out of the back of her!!!!!
so we quickly released the other 2 and put her in, caught 3 babies and by 1am she was the proud mama to 24 fry!! They are all doing absolutly brilliant. Hopefully the swordtail and molly have forgiven me though
