Have added 4 male guppies to my 38 litre today and am extremely pleased

They are pretty and over the next couple of weeks hope to add two more batches of four. They are pretty. Only have tropical fish food, bloodworm and live brineshrimp currently, anything else I should currently know?

What other fish are you keeping in the tank? How many females do you have, if any?
Just make sure that if you have females, you have at least 3 females for every male. Plus, since your tank is only 9 and a half gallons, I wouldn't add too many fish, especially if you have female guppies as well. Just keep that in mind.

Okay, sounds good. But if I were you, I'd only get 4 more, because 10 will be a little tight in a 9.5 gallon tank.

8 is a good amount.
