Weirdest Platy I Have Ever Seen

Ok so I was at the lfs earlier today and I was looking at their platies, and I came across a really big female, well thats what I thought it was. I then saw at the base of her body there was a gonopodium, which means she would be a male . But I knew it was also a female because I saw the eyes of the fry about to come out! Is this actually possible? I looked at her like 10 times to make sure I wasnt seeing anything. Has anyone ever seen a livebearer like this?

no i havent, did you buy her/him (lol)??? and if so have you got any photo's?? and if it was male then maybe the things that you thought were fry were markings??

Hi, I have a female black Dalmation Molly who gives the apearance of being male at first glance because the top of her anal fin is transparent. She looks like a male. Maybe the platy has this too?

No I didnt get the platy, I dont think they were markings because it swam right in front of the tank so it gave me a good look of her/him, and it looked exactly how my platy looked the night she had her fry. The platy looked pretty deformed sort of.
