Weird growth

Can anyone help?
My tank has started to develop strange growths on the rocks and plants.
they are brown in colour and look like they are fine hairs??

All the fish are healthy and it doesn't seem to woory them, but just seems to be taking over and not very attractive.

please help....can send pic if needed.

sounds like you have an algae problem.
how you deal with it is the question.
if you want to go down the chemical route,
I'd recomend eSHa protolon-707.

other than that it is a case of manually removing any effected plant matter and scrubbing all decorations etc.

Not sure as I have not done this myself but I know there are instructions somewhere in this forum as I have read it before.

I think that is just a common algae. I think I read somewhere that it is caused by having the lights on you aquarium on too much. But I'm not really sure?
