What you have is blue green algae (BGA), which is actually cyanobacter, a type of bacteria that photosynthesises. If you leave it, it will take over your tank.
To combat it, you will have to remove as much of it as you can, carry out a 50% water change, then black out your tank for three days using black bin bags, blankets etc...
When the black out is over, carry out another 50% water change. What you will need to address is the cause, as it may well come back. In my experience, it originates in the substrate edges of the tank where it is exposed to sunlight. If I ever see it start to appear, I use an old credit card to push back it down in to the darkness.
Don`t use anti algae products. They just add all manner of unwanted chemicals in to your tank, and they don`t cure the cause. Plus, of course, yours isn`t algae, it is a bacterial infection.
