I know where you live
Hey. I put a dalmation mollie and a guppy in a 10g breeder tank as they were pendant on birth. So, after a while, i found a few babies. They looked like guppies. So i took out the guppies adn left the mollie in there. A few day's later i took her out as she was skinny. Well, several fry are all white with maybe 1 black dot. But the strange thing is, they look like guppy fry, same shape and everthing. I also have some RED guppy fry! They are barley over a week old! Why are they red? I havent had a platy in there since i set the tank up! Then a few days ago i bought a female black molly, from petsmart and she looked like she was about to die from being too pregnant. She was bigger than this: [URL="http

/gallery.pethobbyist.com/data/102137molly2.JPG It was scary as i thought she migth ahve even had bloat she was so big! Well, she dropped on i think monday. Here fry are all black( of course), but when i compared the with the white+ black fry, the black ones are longer, and bigger, but they are younger! Is it possible that the guppy( blonde female by the way!) had guppy/ Molly hybrid's? It is almost impossible to start off with( i have had it happen before though), let alone out of all the mollies in the store. But i dont see any explaination! Any Help? I used the guide i made for everyone about distingushing livebearer fry: [URL="http

/www.fishforums.net/index.php?showto...p;#entry1870498 But i have never seen anything like this. NOTE: i did find a few platy fry in my big tank and put them in there( i just remeberd!), but when i put them in there, they were microscopic and they all had black tail's. Any explaination? Thanks in Advance!
