Weird creatures

I was just sitting in front of my Caridina tank and suddenly I saw some really weird bleached brush algae... I looked more closely and what do I see? A hydroid colony.

I've had Chlorohydra viridissima in my tanks several times, but never a colony of this kind of hydroids. They are really cool.

what is that ? it looks pretty neat....do they filter feed?

Something like that. Usually you see those in marine tanks with more colour and size. Those ones are really, really tiny. I have to go to library tomorrow, I want to know their scientific name =)

Interesting, I've had those things too. Glad to know what they are. I don't have them anymore though.

I've had hydra also , three spot gouramis love them .
