I have 6 Crabros in my 470L tank and one of them is acting very weird, he dives down to a stone and has his mouth on it, then he goes away from it and swims backward and forward and dives down to the stone again. He has been doing this for almost 2 days now and now he has started to stand on his head and wiggle around... any comments ?

Could he be eating algae it sounds sort of like what you describe but never seems excesive, do you have algae in your tank and maybe you have been feeding less the last two days, If I'm right its entirely healthy

I do think you´re right on this one, seems logic. I just havent seen it behave like this before so this was a new one for me. Thanks for the info.

He could also be trying to move the stone as part of staking out his territory. My Mbuna regularly re-arrange their tank for me. Daft fish try and move stones as big as them sometimes.
