Weird Beheviour Of Pregnant Platy

My pregnant platy is acting rather strange and is fin nipping all the other platys in my aquarium and in sliding on the gravel and plants, can anyone give me a reason for this?

Is she preganant as it sounds like she in labour, sliding can you explain more, sound like she might have a stuck fry in there.

she seems to be turning on her side and sliding along the leaves of plants and the gravel

Can you post a picture? If you mean sliding like rubbing it might be parasites.

It's definately sliding and not flicking.
Does the fish look fat due to being pregnant.

I think she in labour then can you issolate her.

I dont have another tank to isolate her in, what should i do?

Can you see any thing around the anal fin and anus area.

yes, there is something small and black just behind the anal fin, i just assumed it was poo

Sounds like baby she having trouble getting out.
This is going to be abit of a risk to be honest, but if you very gently squeeze her belly it might shoot out, don't press to hard don't want to damage the fry inside.

Do you mean a gravid spot.

Don't squeeze the belly for now, want to take a look at your stats in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate, and ph.

Thanks for all the advice, wasnt a fry but expecting first batch overnight.

Ok I would just put it down to abit of discomfort for now, keep a close eye on her.
