recently, my swords and mollies have been acting really skittish. when i used to walk up to the tank, they'd all come to the front and want food. now they all hide in the back behind some plants and won't come out. they seem to get especially freaked out if the light is on. and when i feed them they don't all rush to the top and pig out, but wait for the food to sink. if they do go towards the top they look nervous and dart up and back down to the bottom again. i did just add another female sword, but that's the only changes.

not bullied by anyone, they're the only ones in there. i just got the new female sword because the male was slightly bullying the others. he wouldn't leave one of the females alone and ignored the other, so i got another to hopefully distract him more. they all seem fine together, but freaked out at something

My first sugestion would be to test your water for nitrite, nitrate and ammonia levels. When these are off it can lead your fish to be quite stressed and very sensitive to light, movement and sound. Check it if you can and let us know what you find out. Thanks...
