Weird Behavior From Rams

my male and female gbr were dancing and locking lips. this has stopped. now the female chases the male whenever she sees him. what is happening? advice appreciated.

It's most probably a dominance thing (I've always found female rams to be more aggressive than the males), although it could be courtship.

I'm not sure about Rams but I used to keep Malawis and whenever I saw this kind of thing with them, a couple of days later the female would have eggs... so my guess is they are getting frisky
