Ok, so I've just done a 2g water change in my 10g tank. When I use the gravel vac I always seem to miss a lot of fish waste. Is this alright as long as i keep up the water changes? Or should I somehow Find a better method. I get a fair amount and the filter gets a bit also. I just dont want any amonia build up. Im also going crazy with all these cat hairs that keep ending up in my tank I hope the filter can get those damn things

Sometmes it's hard to get everything out of gravel in 2g... maybe you can try increasing the frequency of your water-changes - that way you pick up everything... how do you get cat hair in there?

Ill Be Doing It Weekly Don't Want To Do It Much More Then That. And As Far As The Cat Hair My Girlfriend Has Cats And Their Hair Floats Everywhere Its Starting To Piss Me Off A Little Bit

I know what you mean with the cats, I have them in my house too. The cat hairs do just go everywhere, so I would not worry about them.

As for the water changes, maybe you could do like 3 1/2 gallon water change. It's a little more water but gives you a bit more time to get the waste out. As long as you do not see to much waste i would not worry, especially if your filter picks it up while your cleaning. Just be sure to check your filter after you clean your gravel, because the filter may be quite full with gunk, depending on how much you dig up and cannot reach.

Good Luck! :good:
