managed to pick up a fluval 403 cannister filter from the local recycling centre for a tenner this week! someone had cut the plug off it so i assumed it would be good for spares only, but put a plug on and it works fine! just needs o-rings replacing. Then today i saw an ad for a free 60 gallon tank, that turns out to have a filter, air pump and all the bits with it too!! off to pick that up tomorrow!!

thought that i'd buy a lottery ticket today for a change too, seeing i seem to be having a run of luck!!

But the new tank is great! 30x24x20, which is gonna be ideal to move my brackish setup into! its a 10mm glass tank with a fluval 4, 20w light and spare tubes, air pumps, hood, the lot!! Needs a good clean but still can't believe i got it for nothing!!!
