my mom said she would help me breed betas (about 300$)

i need a good web page that sells half moon and crowntail betas i need a male and female...

thanks :D

ok, wow thoughs are expencive, anways, what color, type, ect. is best for selling?

like white half moon, what would you say? -_-

Yes, they're going to be expensive if you want high quality. I'd say a definite no to the whites because of their difficulty (preventing red wash, etc). Go with a color that is listed for beginners on the site (under the strain info). Something like a pastel, blue, green, red.. etc. Stay away from blacks, orange/yellow, and white for now. Also, you can get the more basic colors cheaper.

ty, julie... also do you know were she is located? (if its around me i might be able to pick them up...)

I second BCBettas, Marianne has wonderful fish and they are much more reasonably priced than Faith at Bettatalk. Also with Marianne, you actually see a picture of the fish you are getting, with Bettatalk, you do not (you see a "representation" of the fish you will get). Also I believe Faith requires you send the box the fish came in back to her, which is even more expense for you.

If your planning on selling the fish that you breed, breed some nice ones that you like, and most likely other ppl will like them too... i love CTs.... maybe do some of them ?

They look really, really small. Why don't you ask around the neighbourhood for some empty jam jars, which come with lids?

Yea, those things on Ebay are too small/narrow. As the above poster mentioned, look for old/used jars, beanie baby containers (that's what I use), even those plastic deli containers, they come in 32oz and 64 oz. Also check Dollar Stores (if you have them in your area), I was looking at one yesterday and they had these squarish plastic containers that could have been used (although I'm set with beanie containers, so I didnt' buy any), it's hit and miss with those places, but can find some great deals.

i did have a ton just a few weeks ago, and i coulda easily GAVE them all to you. i just called my bro-in-law to ask if they had any left, and he's not sure. if my sister calls back, and says they have some good sized jars left, would you be interested at all? i'm not sure how much shipping and handeling would cost, but i know we wanted to get rid of the jars, so we could give them to you for free IF there are any left....big IF though.
