Weather Loaches

Do you think Weather loaches turn pale when a storms approaching?or is that hogwash?

I have never noticed my weather loaches change color before a storm. But, I have seen them fade a bit from time to time. Maybe I'll try to watch them and see.

I've also heard that they get more active when a storm is on its way, but I find it hard to tell if that's true either. They are always pretty active, it seems to me.
