Weather Loach Pics

One of my Weather Loaches was in posing mood last night so I finally managed some photos, normally any sign of the camera near the tank and they are gone.

I have had them grow to 12" in my pond, these are currently in a 44 gallon and are only around 6".

i have a female at 7inches and she's still grownin lol the males have alot of catching up to do...if u catch my drift

Great close ups there - I love weather loaches.
I have only one (my second one actually) and you're right - it is difficult to get a good close picture.

I keep mine at around 70' to 72' at the moment but obviousley the ones I had in the pond went colder, th eph is around 7. They are ok with goldfish, they also like plenty of room.

but what bioload will it give? do they mess with goldfish? wen eattign or anything? and how many do you recommend?

They dont mess with goldfish, they are totally peaceful and are no where near as dirty as goldfish. Like I said a couple certainly shouldnt do any harm.

They can do, I tend to think this can vary from fish to fish and how many there are in a group, my 3 are visible most of the time
