weather/dojo loach

It's in the title really, I'd like to know how long a weather/dojo loach lives on average. Have searched the net but to no avail...

Also, is it common for them to change colour? The one I am responsible for used to be dark brownish grey but I thought he looked a bit orange-ish today...

If kept in good water conditions and feed a varied diet they should be able to live to 10 years easily, probably even 15-20 years.

Thanks, the one I'm thinking of is 10 now and we were wondering if its time was nearly up...though it shows no signs of ill health except slight orangeness
