We Had An Accident Today!

My wife and son were going to pick me up from work and she had him turn off the light well when he tried to he knocked the hood into the water. Well it ended killing our dalmation molly and our light is not working. We have a couple of live plants in the aquarium and I cant get to pet store til Friday. Will our plants survive without light til then?

About 1/2 year ago, i was right in the middle of doing my exams (as i am now) and my tube went. I left it for 1 week and my plants were SERIOUSLY effected. They have only now started showing signs of perking up.
