hi everyone
tested my aquarium water today and the results are as follows (using API testing) :
Ph- 7.6
Ammonia - 0.25ppm
Nitrite No2 - oppm
Nitrate No3 - 5ppm

Are these results ok? I noticed that last weeks readings (my first readings) were slightly lower in ammonia - but we have added fish within the last week.
After testing we then done approx 25-30 % water change - fish all seem healthy and a pleasure to watch
thanks in advance

You want to keep ammonia as low as possible at all times, with 0.25ppm being the maximum you want it to get to. Do a water change to bring it back down and you'll be fine for a bit. You need to be testing every day and doing a water change whenever you have detectable ammonia.
