Hi, fairly new to this, got a tropical tank set up and just got my first fry (1 molly i think). Ive read a lot about testing the water levels, and wondered if someone can point me in the right direction....

Which water test kits do i need?

How much can i expect to pay?

Where online can i purchase them?

You DEFINATELY need Ammonia, NitrIte, NitrAte, and PH. as for prices i know in the US they are like 10$ a test kit.

What you really need is a "Freshwater Master Test Kit" which includes Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, and both pH and High range pH tests. In the US you can get them at either Petsmart or Petco for around US $13. This kit can do over 700 individual tests total so you're getting your money's worth.

You can go to the store if you want, but print the add from the onine store first and take it with you or they'll charge twice as much if you just walk in and buy it off the shelf. Don't forget the gH/kH mini kit too.
