24" tank with quite a few real plants but very few guppies left

Nitrite - 0ppm
PH - 7.6
Ammonia - 0ppm
Nitrate - about 10


48" tank with 2 real plants and every think seems healthy

Nitrite - 0ppm
PH - 7.6
Ammonia - 0ppm
Nitrate - about 40 or 80, Not sure as they looked the same on the result card, The water turned red

I'm not sure what your question is, but off hand I'd say to do a water change to bring down the nitrates in the second tank. You may want to add a few more real plants to help use the nitrates up if they seem to stay kind of high.
What i was meant to say is, Are those levels acceptable, I am gonna do a water change in the 2nd tank later on and i have about 60 plants coming in the next few days
 
I second that need of a water change, But more plants should definately keep the nitrate down.
In my 7gal i have 20 or so plants and i have vertually no nitrates. But however in my 13gal i had tonnes of plants and after re-doing my tank ie cut soem of the plants down so i can actually see my fish :D :D ive noticed the nitrate going up.

So i think your on the right track and those test results all look fine apart from the nitrate of course :p
