Did you have a particular question you wanted to ask ?

How long has the tank been setup?
Have you cycled it or in process of cycling it?

In process of cycling.

Set up for 3 weeks

2 weeks with fish.

How do my reading look?

id be a bit conserned about the nitrite reading of 1, this level is high and shouldnt be above 0.25 or it could cause damage to the fish, id do some large water changes to get the level down to a safe level

I am really pleased how things are going but I am still a bit concerned that my Nitrite is not going down.

Should I worry or will this just take time.

Thanks

Vin

Nitrite takes roughly twice as long to go as ammonia did so don't worry too much. cycling can easily take 6 weeks so you've nothing to worry about if you're not finished at 3. :)

Have you tested your tap water for nitrite? It should definitely be reduced after a water change. If there is no nitrite in your tap water and it doesn't change after a water change, then I'd say you test kit is faulty. Are you using liguid or strip tests?

What are your readings from your tap water? The fact that the water changes aren't having an effect on the nitrite leads me to believe you may have nitrite in your tap water.

I will check the nitrite in the tap water.
