Water Spirit

I went to my LFS to get a ram and some plants for my year long cycled tank. When I took the plant out of the pot, it was seperated, It was 2 plants in one container, they are the same type. So I pleanted them seperate. This happened to the other plant I bought, but It is doing fine. But nnow, I am concerned because one of my water spirits is "rotting". The leaves and stems ae turning to that rotted plant transparant form. What can I do to stop this? My tank tempature is 78F-82F. Mornign, 78F, night 82F. Is it the tempature or what. The other water spirit is doing fine. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Do you use ferts or co2?

Whats your lighting/substrate?

No ferts, no CO2, Incandescent lighting. Gravel as substrate.

Id usually say lack of nutrients but since your other once is doing fine... Try pruning it and see if it dies back again.
