water softening pillow

hi i bought a water softening pillow that treats a 20 gallon tank. my tank however is 47 gallons

I was just wondering if it will still do the job but just at a much slower rate?

it also says that it can be recharged in salt for 2 hours but does this mean it will NEVER run out or what?

Yah it should do the job but not as well.

if it says u can recharge it then it should in theory last forever but like most things it kinda does after a while cos of the usage but it should be gd for a while yet. try and find out if it tells u how many time u can recharge it
