Water Results ?

Hello everyone,I have been constantly changing water in my fish in cycle (not by choice).
And after struggling to get nitrites down for ages I saw a drop in them today ! However my ph has gone up a very small amount is this normal ?

Todays results
Nitrite 0.1
Nitrate 10
Ammo 0
PH 8.2

Atypical result before this would of been

Nitrite 0.3
Nitrate 20
Ammo 0
PH 7

Should I do a 24% change now or just leave it and keep testing everyday?

What is the PH of your tap water, it might have altered since your last water change?

Have you added any new rocks or anything else that could be pushing the PH up?

Is your local tap water hard and are you trying to get the PH down, try adding bog wood or peat balls, that reduces the PH or so I'm told?
I suppose I'm lucky in one way my local water is soft so I don't need to soften it anymore.
